Know What You're Buying

Originals vs. Limited Editions

One-of-one works. A unique piece created directly by the artist – painting, sculpture, mixed media, or installation.

Numbered editions with defined limits and documentation. Each piece is part of a controlled set – never unlimited.

At Souq Art Fair, editions are controlled

Before You Buy

The right questions to ask at the fair.

You don’t need to be an expert to purchase art. These six questions will help you make
informed, confident purchases.

What's the story behind this body of work?

What is the medium, size, year, and edition number (if applicable)?

Is there a Certificate of Authenticity (especially for editions/photography)?

What framing or installation is recommended?

What are the care instructions and best display conditions?

What are the delivery options - carry home or shipping?

Transparent prices. No guessing games.

Every artwork at Souq Art Fair is clearly labelled with all key details and the price.

No hidden costs, no awkward “price on request.” Souq Art Fair is built for buyers who want
clarity – and for exhibitors who understand that transparency drives sales.
